Entertainment publisher and lover of capital letters BUZZMEDIA this morning announced that it has acquired The Frisky from Turner Broadcasting System (TBS). Originally launched in 2008, The Frisky focuses on a female audience with entertainment news, celebrity, fashion and women?s lifestyle items. According to comScore, the site attracted 2 million monthly readers, on average, in 2010.
